On October 1, 2016 from 8:30 until 11:30, The Main Line CrossFit-Ardmore and The Main Line CrossFit-Wayne (Locations at our website: www.crossfitmainline.com/contact-us/) will be a sponsoring location for the the Third Annual EOD 131 Memorial Workout to benefit the EOD Warrior Foundation (EODWF). The workout is in honor of the 131 EOD Technicians in the Navy, Army, Marine Corps and Air Force who have made the ultimate sacrifice since 9/11. This year Marine SSGT David B. Lyons is added to the list of 130 which now brings the total to 131. SSGT Lyons died of wounds received in action while deployed in 2010 to Afghanistan in Support of Operation Enduring Freedom. The workout is therefore renamed the EOD 131 Memorial Workout in his memory. In anticipation of this event, please consider joining our team by making a donation. Donations go to support the EODWF, which serves the EOD community by providing financial assistance and support to active-duty and veteran wounded, injured or ill EOD warriors, families of our wounded and fallen EOD warriors and by maintaining the EOD Memorial. *$35 donation gets you a kick ass workout, a sweet T-shirt and feeling good about supporting an awesome charity. *All participants will have a donation page created for an option to fundraise and win BoomBells by MadFitter! *Fundraise $200 and receive a 35lb Kettle Bell, stamped with EOD 131. *Fundraise $300 and receive a 53lb Kettle Bell, stamped with EOD 131.
